Introduction

Genius Consciousness is a combination of the strongest all-natural brain ehnancing ingredients brought together in an all-in-one, great tasting daily drink for high performance thinking. This has redefined the nootropic category by harnassing the power of nature.

Genius Consciousness takes a two-prong approach to promote mental stimulation. It contains stimulants whose effects are felt in just a few minutes of taking the pills and besides that it also contains cholinergic ingredients that are meant to boost your brain power in the long-run.

Keeping that fact in mind, it would seem that this product has everything figured out for you already – but how true is that? As it turns out in the following reviews, the product has its fair share of pros and cons.

Genius Consciousness Overview

genius consciousness

Ranked as one of the best-selling nootropic brain boosters on Amazon, Genius Consciousness is a brain-child of a US-based manufacturer by the name the Genius Brand. This is the same company behind Genius Joy and Genius PRE which have proved popular on Amazon.

The idea behind this nootropic stack is to bring together a bunch of earth-grown ingredients meant to improve concentration and the working memory. And indeed, this watermelon-like powder doesn’t disappoint. It packs superior stimulative properties along with the abilities to boost cholinergic and dopaminergic functions in the brain.

Just a few years ago, the Genius Brand was a nondescript company but we’re glad that today, just 5 years after they jumped into the limelight, they seem to be doing everything it takes to remain perched atop this competitive market.

Back to the Genius Consciousness product, its “awakening formula” speaks volumes of the stim-charged brain booster it is. But how exactly does it fare when put to the test?

Does The Genius Consciousness Booster Work?

Roughly 10 minutes after taking the pills, you’re likely to experience a surge in performance. This would also boost your ability to think and remain focused. It’s like taking a cup of coffee on steroids (if there exist such a thing).

But unlike coffee, the Genius Consciousness stack doesn’t work at the expense of creating a slump after a few hours. Within its formula are cholinergic and dopaminergic ingredients which ensure that its effects last well beyond what caffeine can deliver.

And so, yes – this product works and unless you have built up a tolerance to any one of its active ingredients, there is no reason why it shouldn’t work for you.

Its Ingredients

Of course, the answer to whether a product works or not is always subjective. As health experts like to say, results are not always typical. But even then, it’s possible to get a rough idea of whether a product would work for you or not by taking a closer look at its ingredients which is precisely what we’re going to do right now.

1. Acetyl L-Carnitine (500 mg)

L-Carnitine is an amino acid which basically means that it’s a building block for the essential transmitters in the brain. We really like the fact that the makers of this product did not just include L-Carnitine but Acetyl L-Carnitine.

This is a highly bioavailable option and one that’s typically found in high-end nootropic stacks. It’s also a common feature in weight loss products that that’s because of its role in transporting fatty acids into the mitochondria to be broken down into energy.

As such, Acetyl L-Carnitine has the power to make you feel energetic. And besides that, research is still ongoing to ascertain its effects as a weight loss agent.

2. Lion’s Mane (500 mg)

This is a mushroom plant that grows wildly in the Asian forests. It has been used for centuries as a part of the Chinese and Japanese culinary and medical products. What you need to know for now is that research has confirmed the presence of erinacines and hericenones in lion’s mane.

Those two component are actively involved in the generation of new brain cells and the restoration of the old ones. The effects of the Lion’s Mane nootropic are particularly felt in the hippocampus part of the brain which is responsible for the storage of memory and emotional responses.

3. Alpha GPC (250 mg)

The “C” in Alpha GPC is all about choline. If you’ve been studying how the brain works, chances are that you have an idea that choline is the fuel the powers the brain. And unlike caffeine, it stimulates the brain without wrecking your entire central nervous system.

However, much as Alpha GPC is an important source of choline, we feel that CDP-Choline would have been a much better option instead. CD-Choline is purely made up of choline and, therefore, achieves brain-boosting effects faster than Alpha GPC.

That’s, however, not a big deal and if you’re just getting started with noots, chances are that you’ll not even notice this difference. And if anything, Genius Consciousness already contains a bunch of stimulants which are purposely meant to deliver those quick wins.

4. Methyliberine or Dynamine (62.5 mg)

This is a stimulant that’s mainly used for increasing brain energy and alertness. It’s closely related to TeaCrine but it is claimed to be more powerful and capable of punching harder in a shorter period of time.

Also, Dynamine tends to remain active longer than the average stimulant on the market. In fact, it’s believed that its effects can last for at least three hours.

5. Coffee Arabica Caffeine (50 mg)

Coffee Arabic is a lenient form of caffeine which tends to be gentler on your CNS, unlike Caffeine Anhydrous. A typical serving of caffeine anhydrous contains 100mg which is twice as much as what is found in coffee Arabica.

Therefore, in our view, the inclusion of this particular ingredient was well-thought-out since this product already has other stimulants.

6. Phosphatidylserine (50 mg)

Unless you consistently eat soy lecithin, bovine brain, Atlantic herring, and chicken heart in large quantities, chances are that you’re not getting enough Phosphatidylserine (PS) in your diet. So what is PS anyway?

Well, it’s a stress defeating agent which can be of great help to anyone who is in a high-performance working environment.

It complements the long list of stimulants included in the Genius Consciousness menu effectively providing you with the green-light to be the best you can be.

7. Neurofactor (50 mg)

Don’t let the fancy name fool you, this is nothing but a coffee Arabica extract only that its formulation is patented under the name Neurofactor. It is still not clear why the company had to include two versions of coffee Arabica.

8. Panax notoginseng & Astragalus membranaceus (25 mg)

Panax notoginseng is the Chinese ginseng which though effective is typically less effective than the American Ginseng otherwise known as Panax qunquefolis.

As for Astragalus membranaceus, you need just a bit of it to improve your immunity. So, once again, it’s not exactly clear why these two ingredients were included in the menu.

9. Huperzia serrata (5 mg)

The sole reason why we support the inclusion of Huperzine-A into this formula is the fact that it improves the effects of acetylcholine in the brain. It particularly inhibits the production of acetylcholinesterase which reduces the effectiveness of acetylcholine.

However, you have to note that the brain easily develops tolerance to Hup-A and, therefore, you’d need to cycle this product (5 days on cycle, 2 days off cycle).

Who Takes This Product?

Anyone who is not allergic or has built up a tolerance to caffeine, Alpha-GPC, Huperzine-A, etc can benefit a lot from this particular product.

It, however, might not seem like much to advanced nootropic users. And, therefore, we’d recommend it to first-timers especially anyone who needs to break their coffee dependence.

Potential Side Effects

All the ingredients appearing on the list are generally safe although we’d still recommend that you talk to your doctors in case you have any doubts. If taken in large quantities and for prolonged periods of time, though, the stack may cause a few minor side effects such as:

  • Gastrointestinal distress
  • Nervousness
  • Dry mouth

The Recommended Dosage

The recommended dosage for anyone who is starting out is half a scoop. The scoop is provided and contains 2.6 grams of the powder. However, you can always upgrade to taking 1 full scoop for even more benefits.

Remember, this product contains Huperzine-A and, therefore, it’s important to cycle it by taking at least 2 days off-cycle per week.

For optimal effects, it’s recommended to take the dose early in the morning and if possible on an empty stomach. You can also take it as a pre-workout some 30-minutes before working out for the best results.

Pros

  • Contains 100% natural ingredients
  • Contains stimulants that work quite fast
  • Can give expensive energy drinks a run for their money
  • Well packaged
  • Affordably priced
  • Fast shipping and awesome quality assurance

Cons

  • It contains a bunch of stimulants and may not impress anyone looking for an advanced noot stack
  • They have severely underdosed on Alpha-GPC

Final Thoughts

If all you’re looking for is an energy-booster that has also got some significant long-term effects to your brain health, Genius Consciousness from the Genius Brand would be worth trying. It, however, isn’t as powerful as the like of Qualia Focus and Mind Lab Pro which probably explains its friendly price tag.

We love the fact that it’s all-natural and that it’s manufactured in line with the cGMP regulations. As such, it’s generally safe for use and can easily be obtained on Amazon which is by far the safest e-commerce marketplace to buy anything.

So ditch your overrated energy drink and give this sweet-tasting formula a shot. It might just be the tool you need clear brain fog and focus better, on the cheap.
